Hi, I’m Ruben! My musical journey started with years of playing in church. I quickly fell in love all instruments including guitar, piano, and ukulele. That early spark grew into a lifelong passion for music and teaching. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Dallas Baptist University and later completed a Master’s degree in Music Theory from the University of Texas at Arlington. Over the past ten years, I’ve taught thousands of private lessons and worked with students of all ages, helping them discover their passion, creativity, and joy through music.

Throughout my years of playing and teaching, I’ve gained an appreciation and skill set for a wide variety of genres—worship, country, classic rock, pop, R&B, metal, and everything in between.
